Why doesn't Leftover check my balance itself?

Stores don't offer a public way to do that, and logging in on your behalf would mean sending your card number to a server. Leftover opens the store's own page with your number copied, you read the balance, and type it. It takes about 20 seconds.

The balance page doesn't work

Stores move their pages. Use the site or phone number printed on the back of your card, and tell us which store so we can fix the link.

Restore Leftover Pro

Open Leftover, go to Settings and tap Restore purchase. Use the same Apple Account you bought Pro with, or the family organizer's account if you use Family Sharing.

Move to a new iPhone

With Pro and iCloud sync on, sign in with the same Apple Account and open Leftover.

Without iCloud, go to Settings, Back up to a file, set a password, and AirDrop the .leftover file to the new iPhone. Open it there and enter the password.

Card numbers show as locked on my iPad

The key that unlocks card numbers syncs through iCloud Keychain. Turn on iCloud Keychain on both devices (Settings, your name, iCloud, Passwords and Keychain).
